  • To understand how tourism can contribute to the sustainability of fablabs
  • To explore how can FabLabs contribute to the tourist sector (main activities and competencies involved)
  • To learn about tourism related to makerspaces and rural development 
14.00-18.00 Managing a Precious Plastic Chapter in a Rural Area Carlos Alcobia 
Objectives:
  • To know the Buinho Fablab and the Precious Plastic project
  • To discuss the Territorial impact and challenges of these projects – Buinho’s experience in Alentejo region, Portugal and in São Tomé and Príncipe
  • To discuss about new trends
  • Pivoting the precious plastic lab to work with other materials
